X2CRM is an open source CRM software application that includes marketing features out of the box. The latest X2CRM 5.0 version includes marketing tools, including newsletters, lead routing, email campaigns and more. California-based X2CRM built a sales, marketing automation and customer service application with enterprise-level features, but they designed their product for small businesses to use with having to without having to purchase additional modules for full functionality, although X2CRM is customizable and extendable. Administrators may use the drag-and-drop X2Studio designer to create custom fields and forms to meet the unique needs of their company. Add-on services include technical support for migrations or deployment and X2 Cloud Hosting. Founder John Roberts is an open source CRM developer who previously co-founded SugarCRM.
