CiviCRM
CiviCRM is an open source constituent relationship management web-based application used mainly by non-profit and civic-centered organizations. It has a complete set of CRM features and integrates into existing websites using Drupal, WordPress, or Joomla. As an open source project, it has thousands of developers supporting it worldwide and can be customized or expanded to meet specific needs. The software's features include contact management, membership management, accounting integration, case management, event management, and email marketing. CiviCRM was founded in 2005 as a California limited liability company owned by Donald Lobo and Dave Greenberg. Although officially an LLC, CiviCRM has operated from the start as a not-for-profit organization. CiviCRM continues to develop the application and has a detailed road map covering three primary goals for the future: To add a powerful form designer, create a better looking user interface, and build both on top of an improved API.
